Bless The Nation Expeditions

Khe Sanh Orphanage-Building Mission

Bless the People. Bless the Places. Bless the Nation.

March 5–14, 2027 · 10 days / 9 nights · US$2,915 per participant · 14 places

Ride With Purpose. Build Alongside the Local Church.

Join a purposeful missionary motorcycle expedition near Khe Sanh, Vietnam. Travel with a small team, assist local builders on a church-led orphanage project, share meals with neighbouring communities, distribute locally requested staples and pray at an appropriate former U.S. military-base visitor site.

The orphanage and future care ministry remain locally owned and operated by the Vietnamese church ministry. BTN coordinates the expedition and project support. Four substantial supervised building days are planned. Volunteers serve alongside local tradespeople; the expedition does not promise completion of the entire building or access to children. No children will live on the active construction site.

The Mission at a Glance

  • Four substantial construction days, helping local tradespeople with approved non-specialist work.
  • Scenic, operator-scouted riding from the Da Nang/Hoi An area through Hue toward Khe Sanh.
  • Shared meals, community fellowship and locally requested staple distribution.
  • A locally guided former-base/historical visit and permitted prayer/reflection.
  • A locally owned orphanage project—foreign participants support, not control, the ministry.

Planned Programme: March 5–14, 2027

The following is the planned programme. Weather, permissions, site readiness and safety may require substitutions; the four main building days depend on the local contractor releasing suitable work.

  1. March 5: Arrival in Da Nang/Hoi An, welcome, documents and safety briefing, scooter fit and short familiarization ride.
  2. March 6: Operator-scouted scenic ride toward Hue, with agreed community fellowship where time permits.
  3. March 7: Travel through Quang Tri to Khe Sanh, meet the local ministry, site orientation and welcome fellowship meal.
  4. March 8–11: Four main construction days, with tasks released and supervised by local professionals, shared meals and prayer.
  5. March 12: Locally guided former-base/historical visit, permitted prayer and invited community fellowship/staple service. Weather and work readiness may require substitutions.
  6. March 13: Return toward Hue in daylight, by the safe riding route or support transfer.
  7. March 14: Return to Da Nang/Hoi An, scooter handover and expedition closeout. Allow the published flight/weather buffer before booking an international departure.

Accommodation is shared and assigned through the confirmed rooming plan. Who Can Participate?

Mission-minded adults who are willing to serve under local leadership, respect the community and follow the operator’s safety requirements. Self-riders must have the correct legal riding entitlement, suitable experience and insurance for the actual activities. Non-rider or pillion arrangements require individual approval and a properly quoted safe transport option; no owned Jeep fleet is promised.

Participation is subject to readiness screening, legal riding entitlement, suitable insurance, local permissions, final operator arrangements and the published participant/cancellation terms. The scheduled dates may be adjusted if safe or lawful delivery cannot be confirmed. A participant payment buys expedition services and must not be described as an automatically tax-deductible donation.

Do not buy non-refundable flights until the team provides the confirmed arrival/departure instructions and the applicable expedition go/no-go. International departure needs a safe weather and connection buffer.

Project Gifts and GiveSendGo

Prefer to help without travelling? The project will use an approved GiveSendGo campaign for clearly designated orphanage/community support. Contact BTN for the current campaign link and recipient details. We are not publishing an invented campaign URL or claiming a campaign is live before it is verified.

Project gifts and participant services are separate. A gift does not automatically reserve a place, and a participant payment is not represented as an automatically tax-deductible charitable donation. Published campaign terms must identify any approved participant benefit, recipients, purpose and fees. The operating budget includes disclosed marketing/project and organizer services; restricted building/staple gifts are not silently redirected to those costs.

Volunteer Locally or From Your Home Church

We are recruiting organically through churches, mission committees, Christian riding groups and willing supporters. Many roles are remote and do not require travelling to Vietnam.

  • Western-country church spokespeople / mission ambassadors: visit local churches and present the approved mission, invite prayer/support/applications and refer people to the official BTN information. Begin with the United States and Canada, then other Western countries as suitable volunteers join.
  • Prayer coordinator and intercessors.
  • Church-outreach coordinators and sponsor/partnership liaisons.
  • Organic social-media, copywriting, design, adult-media editing and WordPress support.
  • Participant inquiries, application follow-up, scheduling and administration.
  • Competent bookkeeping and independent receipts/reconciliation review.
  • English–Vietnamese translation and local community/staple coordination.
  • Local volunteer kitchen lead, cooks, BBQ assistants and hospitality helpers.
  • Qualified riding, first-aid/welfare, mechanic/recovery, support-logistics and contractor-supervised construction support.

Tell us your preferred role, country/time zone, availability and relevant skills. Responsible leads check the role’s competence, permissions and safeguarding requirements. Expenses and travel arrangements are agreed separately; volunteering does not guarantee a free expedition place. Church spokespeople receive approved facts and presentation materials, do not collect gifts in personal accounts, and do not promise unsupported tax receipts or access to children.

Local Leadership, Dignity and Follow-up

Pastor Jeromy (Hồ Hùng) and Pastor Paul provide Vietnamese pastoral leadership and local coordination. Pastor Stephen and Chaplain Shawn Michael support the organization and missionary team. Technical building, lawful travel, finance and safeguarding responsibilities remain with competent, authorized people.

Aid is never conditional on church attendance, prayer, filming or buying a participant place. No child-specific access or completed building is guaranteed. The local ministry leads future care, admissions and operations under the appropriate approvals. Building-progress and project-use updates will be shared without exploiting private child or family stories.

Next Step

Request the briefing for the first fourteen-person expedition. Any second or third departure supports this same orphanage project and will be advertised only after its own dates, crew, lodging and work-stage arrangements are confirmed.
