Frequently Asked Questions
What experience or driver's license do I need to ride?
Self-riders must have previous riding experience and hold a valid motorcycle license. For legal riding in Vietnam, local regulations require a 1968 Convention International Driving Permit (IDP) with a motorcycle endorsement (A category) alongside your home license. (Note: 1949 IDPs issued by countries like the US, Canada, and Australia are generally not recognized).
Don’t have a 1968 IDP? You can still join the full expedition stress-free by riding pillion with one of our experienced Easy Riders, or taking a passenger seat in our open-air support convoy!
What motorcycle and gear are included with my tour?
Every primary rider booking includes a fully maintained, expedition-ready motorcycle along with a safety helmet. Our support vehicle carries tools, spare parts, and mobile mechanics so you can focus entirely on the ride.
Can I bring a passenger or ride pillion?
Absolutely! You can bring a passenger to ride behind you, or you can book a Ride Pillion spot to ride on the back of a bike driven by one of our experienced professional Easy Riders.
What is included in the base tour price?
Your registration covers your motorcycle, accommodations, support vehicle logistics, mechanics, and local guides. Detailed packing lists and daily schedule briefings are provided to all participants prior to deployment.
How do I change my booking dates or transfer my spot?
If your travel schedules shift, please contact our team directly through our contact form as soon as possible. Transfers to alternative tour dates depend on route availability and remaining participant slots.
